Queenie 

Queenie was found emaciated on the side of a road; weighing only 14 lbs on intake at Fresno Animal Center. She was missing an eye and the intact eye was ulcerated & seemingly without sight. Fresno Animal Center provided medical care for the eye injury, and kept her safe. But shelter life is scary and even more terrifying when you can’t see. Queenie sat frozen in the corner of her kennel for weeks, unable to see and overlooked.  After weeks of care by Mell's amazing foster Leah, Queenie found her own forever home with someone who followed her story from the beginning.
